• Resume Data: Information you input into the builder, including work history, education, and contact details.
• Usage Data: Anonymous analytics on how you interact with our platform to help us improve the experience.

2. Local-First Architecture

We believe your data belongs to you. Shortlistd is built with a local-first architecture. This means the vast majority of your resume data and job tracking information is stored directly in your browser's local storage. We do not transmit this data to our servers unless you explicitly opt-in to cloud syncing.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information exclusively to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Shortlistd platform.
• Render your resumes and perform ATS compatibility scanning.
• Communicate with you regarding account updates or technical support.

We do not, and will never, sell your personal data to third parties, recruiters, or advertisers.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. All data transmitted between your browser and our servers (for authenticated users) is encrypted via TLS.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal information at any time. Since much of your data is stored locally, you can clear it simply by clearing your browser data. For cloud-synced accounts, you may delete your account and all associated data directly from your settings panel.
